We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of pets while providing exceptional service to their owners.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards or owner preferences.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Assess the condition of each pet’s coat and skin, identifying any health issues that may require attention.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare.
- Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area and equipment to ensure a safe environment for both pets and staff.
- Keep detailed records of grooming services performed on each pet, including any special instructions or observations.

Requirements
- Experience and training in pet grooming is essential with 1 year or more; additional experience in dog training or animal handling is a plus.
- Familiarity with various breeds and their specific grooming needs.
- Strong animal restraint skills to ensure the safety of both the groomer and the pet during procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment.
- Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous.
