About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and results‑driven Managing Director to lead our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and IT hardware procurement & resale operations across North America, while also supporting expansion into global markets. This role oversees commercial development, operational excellence, supply chain strategy, and business growth in both the United States and international regions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead business strategy for the U.S. and North America as the primary operational base.
- Drive global business expansion in targeted regions including APAC, and EMEA.
- Manage full P&L ownership with focus on profitability, cost optimization, and long‑term growth.
- Develop organizational structures and teams that support both regional execution and global scalability.
IT Hardware Procurement & Sales
- Oversee procurement operations covering U.S. suppliers, brokers, corporate refresh programs, and OEM relationships.
- Build and manage international sourcing channels to support global hardware requirements.
- Lead both domestic and international remarketing strategies across channels.
- Optimize pricing, grading standards, and inventory turnover across regions.
ITAD Operations
- Oversee North American ITAD operations as the core processing and compliance hub.
- Support development of international logistics and processing partnerships.
- Ensure global consistency in data security, chain‑of‑custody, and environmental compliance.
- Enhance workflow efficiency, refurbishment capacity, and recovery value metrics.
Commercial Development & Partnerships
- Grow enterprise accounts across the U.S. and expand partnerships internationally.
- Lead major negotiations for multi‑site or multi‑country ITAD agreements.
- Represent the company at regional and global industry events.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 10 years of leadership experience in ITAD, IT hardware trading, IT lifecycle management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. and North American IT hardware ecosystem.
- Experience managing global suppliers or cross‑border operations.
- Proven P&L management and revenue growth track record.
Preferred
- Established network with North American or global IT hardware suppliers, brokers, or enterprise clients.
- Experience scaling operations across multiple countries.
- Familiarity with global certification standards such as R2 and ISO.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
