Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- State of NH Teacher Certification in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) (0607) or other approved certification status may be considered.
- Master’s Degree preferred (graduate study in educational leadership preferred)
- Teaching experience required

Core Responsibilities of Position:
Curriculum Development and Implementation:
- Review/rewrite core competencies.
- Align competencies with Manchester Academic Standards (with other BLILs).
- Begin the plan for implementation of Manchester Academic Standards.
- Oversee alignment of unit plans with new standards.
- Facilitate vertical alignment of curriculum with feeder schools.
- Maintain inventory databases of books, equipment, supplies and rooms and distribute
- materials as needed.
Assessment:
- Facilitate collection and analysis of data to improve instruction and to develop, to implement, and to maintain consistent practices in:
? State tests
? Performance assessments
- Develop and implement common formative and summative assessments.
Instruction:
- Mentor teachers
- Support implementation of best practices in:
? Instructional methodologies
? Classroom management
? Data collection
Professional Learning:
- Facilitate meetings of teachers in structured PLCs, both during and after school.
- Coordinate professional learning activities for department (meeting schedules, goal setting, aligning with school and district goals).
Department Specific:
- Coordinate department specific contests, awards, testing.
Specified Length/Hours of Position:
This is an affiliated (MEA) position under the Teacher Association negotiated contract, following the school calendar with additional workshop days. This job is not eligible for sponsorship.
