Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring excellent customer service from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
Manage the waitlist and seat guests in a timely manner.
Answer phones and assist with reservations when needed.
Maintain an organized seating chart to maximize restaurant flow.
Communicate with servers and management regarding table availability.
Keep the host stand, lobby, and waiting area clean and organized.
Assist with light cleaning and other front-of-house duties as assigned.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
Dependable with excellent attendance.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred.
Schedule:
Wednesday through Sunday
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
