About the Role:

The Material Mover plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of materials within a warehouse, manufacturing facility, or distribution center. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.


• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, instructions, and record data accurately.


• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials as required.


• Understanding of workplace safety standards and willingness to follow safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification or equivalent training.


• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.


• Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory control systems.


• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods within the facility.


• Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and storage areas according to established procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels using warehouse management systems.
