Industrial Electrician / Electrical Panel Builder
Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling and wiring industrial equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications. Troubleshoot electrical wiring and circuits, interpret schematics, and perform machine wiring in accordance with NEC standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to safety and quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire industrial equipment and control panels.
- Troubleshoot wiring, circuits, and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
- Perform machine wiring according to NEC standards.
- Document and communicate changes, issues, and project progress.
- Support ISO and quality standards throughout the build process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years of electrical experience preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of panel building, machine wiring, schematic interpretation, and troubleshooting.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding positions.
- Related vocational education and Journeyman's card preferred.
- Ability to obtain required equipment certifications and Lockout/Tagout training after hire.
