Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, Facilities Maintenance, or a related field (preferred)
- Current State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License held for three (3) or more years (Preferred)
- Minimum of three (3) years of electrical maintenance experience (Required)
- Five (5) or more years of experience working with electrical systems in a healthcare or hospital environment (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments related to the electrical trade
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, technical manuals, and drawings
- Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and work independently
