Job Summary:
As the Bill Review Administration Lead, you will oversee the medical claims review process for Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault insurance cases. This leadership role requires hands-on medical billing experience and a passion for process improvement. You’ll manage inventory, run operational and compliance reports, and ensure the quality and accuracy of our bill review database.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of the Bill Review Department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of medical bills and supporting documents.
- Manage inventory of claims, documents, and supplies for the department.
- Run regular and ad hoc reports to monitor productivity, compliance, and billing accuracy.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) checks, identifying and correcting errors.
- Track and monitor claims progress, prioritize urgent cases, and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between coders, adjusters, providers, and administrative staff to resolve billing inquiries and documentation issues.
- Ensure all bills and supporting documents meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records and logs within the bill review software.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience (required).
- Prior experience in an administrative or insurance setting.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and billing/coding practices.
- Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault insurance regulations (preferred).
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strataware experience a plus.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
