Duties
- Greet customers warmly at the counter, providing friendly, efficient service and answering product questions with enthusiasm.
- Assist with product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to boost sales.
- Handle cashiering duties using POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure displays are attractive and well-maintained to enhance the shopping experience.
- Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and conducting regular stock checks to maintain product availability.
- Back up delivery driver responsibilities by safely transporting products to local locations or customers when needed.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries, ensuring clear communication at all times.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar retail environments.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings and customer interactions.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is essential for accurate transactions.
