Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide courteous, attentive service.
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, specials, and available options.
- Take customer orders accurately in person or through the restaurant's ordering system.
- Process payments and operate point-of-sale (POS) equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and served promptly.
- Package takeout orders carefully and verify order accuracy before handoff.
- Assist with serving food and beverages according to restaurant procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service counters and dining areas.
- Restock napkins, utensils, condiments, packaging, and other service supplies.
- Assist with preparing the dining area and service stations before opening.
- Respond professionally to customer questions and refer complex concerns to management.
- Follow food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain efficient service.
- Assist with routine opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
- Report equipment issues, supply shortages, and customer concerns to supervisors.
