Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Maintenance Superintendent to support our residential property in Downtown Boston, MA. You will work closely with the Maintenance Superintendent, Property Manager, and Facilities Manager. The duties you will be responsible for will include:
- Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
- Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
- Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
- Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
- Preparing buildings for inspections
- Updating records and reports related to maintenance.
- Keeping the Property Manager and Maintenance Superintendent up-to-date on any work that needs to be done at the property.
The work hours are 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with on-call duties shared with the Maintenance Superintendent.
