Malone is recruiting for a Sales Account Manager – Nissan opportunity with an established Tier 1 automotive supplier in Novi, MI. This role will support Nissan USA and Nissan Mexico, managing existing projects while also supporting new business opportunities.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing commercial role for someone who understands the pace, detail, and expectations of OEM account management within a fast-paced automotive supplier environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Sales Account Manager will serve as the internal commercial lead for assigned Nissan business and will be responsible for:

• Managing commercial topics for Nissan USA and Nissan Mexico accounts
• Supporting existing programs and new business opportunities
• Preparing and managing RFQs, pricing, tooling quotations, service parts quotations, and quote packages
• Initiating, tracking, and closing internal cost studies in support of customer quotes
• Understanding customer specifications and serving as the internal voice of the customer
• Tracking tooling quotations, amortizations, cost breakdowns, milestones, and related commercial activity
• Managing customer/internal change requests and communicating timing, expectations, and action items across internal teams
• Supporting focused recovery items, including lump sum recoveries, RMI, economics, tariffs, pricing discrepancies, tooling payments, and overdue invoices
• Updating annual sales forecasts and providing customer volumes for annual budgets
• Preparing monthly sales reports and analyzing budget, sales, and forecast variances
• Flexibility to travel in the USA/Mexico (average travel, 15%)

Requirements & Education:

• 3 years of direct Nissan account management experience required
• Experience supporting Nissan USA and/or Nissan Mexico (Nissan Mexico or cross-border Mexico business experience is a plus)
• Experience with Nissan commercial documents and portals, such as PDCT, SQ, F1, RFQ, GTOP, Mondays.com, or similar systems
• Tier 1 automotive supplier background & OEM-facing commercial experience
• Strong commercial ownership including: RFQs, pricing, quotes, tooling, cost breakdowns, recovery items, forecasts, and customer negotiations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, follow-up, organization, and customer relationship skills
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Valid driver’s license required
• Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
• Flexibility to travel 15% within the U.S. and Mexico
• AS or BS degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Technical field, or related discipline (preferred)
