• Minimum: 2 years OR experience
• Must have Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must live >100 miles from facility
• Former permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as traveler

You must be proficient in:

• Neuro
• Trauma
• ENT
• Robotics

Critical requirements:

• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Craniotomy experience (especially for trauma cases)

• Urology
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedics
• Robotic surgery
• General surgery
• Podiatry
• ENT

• OR: 1:1
• Pre-Op: 1:2
• PACU Phase I: 1:1–2
• PACU Phase II: 1:2–3

CST (Surgical Tech)

• BLS – required
• CST (NBSTSA) – preferred

SFA (First Assist)

• BLS – required
• Must hold one:
  • CSFA (NBSTSA/NCCSA)
  • SA-C / CSA / CRNFA

• CST:
  • Accredited program or Associate degree (waived if nationally certified)
• SFA:
  • Associate degree required

• Strong experience across all listed specialties
• Robotics trauma neuro is essential
• Ability to handle high-acuity surgical cases independently

• RN / First Assist / Surgical Tech per case
• Nurse Clinician
• Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN)
• Service Line Leads (x2)
• OR Techs (1 per case)
• Anesthesia team
• Scheduler & Preference Card Analyst

• EMR: Epic (required experience)

• May float to:
  • Central Sterile Processing (as needed)

• 1 week total

Weekend

• Every 3rd weekend (if applicable)

Call Requirements

• Varies by department:

CVOR Example:

• 1 overnight/week (7p–7a)
• Every 3rd weekend:
  • Fri 1500 → Mon 0700

Main OR:

• Discussed during interview
• Response time: 15 minutes
• Sleep options:
  • Pre-Op/PACU sleep room
  • Break room couches

• Must work 2 of 4 major holidays
