Part-Time HR Assistant

We are currently seeking a Part-Time HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a people-focused environment, and wants hands-on exposure to recruiting, employee engagement, and HR operations. You’ll play an important role in helping us attract talent, support our associates, and strengthen our connection to the community.
This position offers meaningful experience in Human Resources within a stable manufacturing organization and is well-suited for someone early in their HR career or looking to grow their administrative and people-support skills.
Schedule & Compensation
- Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday during normal business hours (limited evening and weekend hours may be necessary for company events)
- The posted starting pay is reflective of a general starting pay range. Actual offered compensation will depend on factors including relevant work experience.
What You’ll Do
Under direction of a tenured HR leadership team:
- Support recruiting and talent acquisition efforts, including initial phone screens, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Assist with planning, promoting, and staffing hiring events and community outreach initiatives
- Help build and maintain relationships with local schools, organizations, and workforce agencies
- Support internal events such as training sessions, recognition activities, associate celebrations, and business meetings
- Assist with maintaining associate files, documentation, and HR systems
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for HR leadership
- Support compliance activities, audits, and recordkeeping
- Assist with HR projects across departments as assigned
- Provide general administrative and team support to ensure smooth HR operations
- Uphold all company policies related to safety, food safety, OSHA, and compliance
