About the Role
This position typically works Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Because we provide onsite services to customers, flexibility is required for occasional earlier start times or later end times depending on customer schedules and project needs.
As a Service Technician, your overall objective will be to meet the needs of our customers by inspecting, maintaining, assembling, and repairing life-saving industrial safety equipment. This role combines hands-on mechanical work, customer service, technology, and operations support. You'll spend time both in our facility and at customer locations throughout the region.

How You Can Make an Impact
- Assemble, inspect, service, and repair life-saving industrial safety equipment
- Travel to customer locations throughout the local area to perform inspections, maintenance, and service work
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships while serving as a professional representative of Mallory
- Utilize order entry and service software to document repairs, inspections, and customer needs
- Pick, organize, and put away parts and inventory needed for service work
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities to support daily operations
- Complete ongoing internal and external training programs to expand technical knowledge and certifications
- Collaborate with team members on service projects, customer initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts

What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience and a driving record that aligns with our Safe Driver Policy
- Ability to operate company vehicles including service vans and pickup trucks, and occasionally drive rental box trucks (typically 16-18 feet)
- Real ID or other travel-compliant identification required for occasional out-of-state travel and training opportunities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic experience using hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable using computers, software applications, and technology
- Previous experience with safety equipment, industrial equipment, maintenance, mechanical repair, or related fields preferred
- Demonstrated history of reliability, strong attendance, and longevity in previous positions
- Ability to learn multiple equipment types and repair processes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly bend, reach, twist, stand, and walk throughout the workday
- Ability to travel occasionally for training, team projects, and professional development opportunities
- Ability to read and write in English
