The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing inventory, receiving shipments, and ensuring products are organized and tracked accurately within the retail store. This role requires strong computer literacy to operate inventory management systems, track stock, and generate reports efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
- Accurately label, store, and organize merchandise in the warehouse or stockroom.
- Maintain and update inventory records using computerized systems; perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for the sales floor or for customer fulfillment using digital tools.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks, ensuring safe handling of products.
- Keep the warehouse and stock areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with store management and team members through digital tools and email regarding inventory needs or issues.
- Follow all safety, security, and data entry procedures accurately.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills; experience with inventory management software, spreadsheets, or point-of-sale systems required.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous warehouse or retail stock experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (35lbs up to 40 lbs]).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and data management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime during peak production periods.Salary is commensurate to experience.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
