Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or handling ingredients when needed
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with dish management during events
- Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours
- Follow all food handling safety protocols and maintain proper sanitation practices at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering events, or banquet settings is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations including bussing tables or assisting in food preparation is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
