Key Objective:
The team leader is responsible for delegating daily work to a small group of associates (approximately 5-8) to ensure that it is completed in accordance with established standards and to the departmental schedule.

Must be able to pass the strength/stress test and drug/alcohol screening contingent to the hiring process
Job requires standing and working in and around boats/molds throughout the entire day
Must work efficiently and in the safest manner possible, following all safety regulations at all time
Education And/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Key Objective:
- Successful fabrication of all required lamination applications for tooling and fixture construction including but not limited to molds, glass masters, splashes, heavy parts, tabbing, trimming, and demolding.
- Maintain schedule and quality
- Lead daily operations for 1
- Lamination: Up to 8 persons.
- Ensure all lamination processes/procedures are being followed.
- Pattern, cut, and fit coring and lamination reinforcements.
- Coordinate with the supervisor for tools, materials, and supplies.
- Conduct daily tests for equipment calibration and operation.
- Set up, operate, clean, and shut down guns and pumps.
- Record and document daily operations on part travelers.
- Ensure all operations are performed safely.
- Maintain all areas and equipment clean, neat, and organized at all times.
- Conduct daily routine maintenance of equipment.
- Store all materials safely at the end of the day.
- Train team members.
- Conduct operations using TDC mold fabrication approved processes.
- Composite fabrication.
- Scheduling / Time management.
- Composite equipment operation and maintenance.
- Composite cutting and grinding equipment and procedures.
- Resin systems.
- Full ability to laminate molds using wet layup processes.
- Full ability in trimming hulls, decks, medium parts, stringer grids and small part molds.

- Supports continuous improvement utilizing Safety system, Kaizen, CAR system, and other problem-solving techniques.
- Responsible for the proper maintenance of all equipment used in their area. Drives workplace organization using the 5S methodology.
- Identifies problems (i.e. material shortages, employee relations issues, etc.) within their scope and communicates to the group leader when additional assistance is needed.
- Responsible for training new associates.
- Monitors team members work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Responsible for ordering parts, materials, and supplies required for departmental operation.
- Tracks individual team members time on projects and documents accordingly.
- Interacts with other departments to resolve issues.
