A well-established Argentine restaurant serving our community for 7 years! We are looking for a professional, friendly, and reliable . We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations.
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
- Experience in a nightclub or high-energy dining setting is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
