Bulk Shipping Clerk

MakingCosmetics Inc has been in business for over 27 years and located in the Redmond Ridge area. We are looking for a F/T Bulk Shipping Clerk to help in our shipping department primarily working with our bulk products. We are looking for someone who works well in a Warehouse team environment; organized, fast paced and the ability to lift 65 pounds of cosmetic ingredients on a consistent basis. We pay employees on a monthly basis.

Job Duties:

· Experience with packing both small and large item shipments. Ability to lift, pack and move manually up to 65lbs throughout the day with a sense of urgency in order to meet daily specific deadlines and company quotas.

· Order fulfillment – accurate picking (by hand to cart), packing, palletizing and shipping large bulk products for incoming orders.

· Record and request lot COAs for orders when required through proper Slack channel.

· Responsible for closing boxes to ensure finished product is neat and professional.

· Work with the team on weekly warehouse cleaning (sweeping, moving pallets, dusting and garbage).

· Assist with stocking boxes and shipping supplies on a weekly basis.

· Transporting bulk items from one location to another.

· Assist with pallet banding.

Ability to work on your own in a fast paced environment with excellent communication skills; position collaborates on a daily basis with team and Manager

Additional Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Willingness to help in other departments and learn new areas of the business
• Assist with physical inventory of bulk warehouse ingredients
• Keep your work area clean and free of clutter
• Ensure safety protocols while working in a Warehouse environment

Essential Job Functions/Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time, including lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping.
• Must be able to work in various temperatures in the Warehouse (cold/hot temps depending on season)
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds on a regular basis
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment to process, pick and ship out orders daily

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 1 years of Shipping/Warehouse experience
• Must be dependable and reliable on a full-time basis
• Capable of meeting deadlines and work in a team environment
• Good organizational and time management skills
