What We're Looking For… We are looking for an energetic, patient, and creative Afterschool Program Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for middle school students after the school day ends. You will lead educational activities, assist with homework, and facilitate recreational play. The ideal candidate is a mentor at heart who can maintain a structured environment while fostering a sense of community and curiosity: A true "team player" who prioritizes student outcomes above all else. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. - Completion of at least 48 college semester units or an Associate's Degree is desired. - Experience working with children in a group setting, e.g., after-school program leader/tutor, camp counselor, youth sports coach, instructional aide, student teacher. - Experience building authentic, respectful relationships with a diverse student body; values all cultural backgrounds.
