THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A CONCRETE FINISHER

This is a full-time position with a schedule that varies depending on project needs. Some days will start early to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the highest standards.

As a Concrete Finisher at Maker Construction Corp, you'll be responsible for installation, repairs, and site preparation. Each day will begin by traveling to your assigned job site, where you'll mix, pour, and finish concrete. You'll set up and dismantle forms and temporary structures, dig and lift materials, and operate power tools like saws, drills, jackhammers, and compactors. Your role will include supporting skilled tradespeople and foremen, helping lead the crew, and ensuring high-quality results in everything you do. You'll also operate single-axle dump trucks and other work vehicles, always prioritizing safety and reliability. Maintaining a clean, organized work environment and mindfully following safety protocols will be part of your daily routine.

OUR IDEAL CONCRETE FINISHER

• 1 years of experience in construction, concrete finishing, asphalt paving, site grading, or pavement maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements
• Experience with placing concrete from a truck, buggy, or pump
• Proficiency in flatwork, ADA ramps, patio drip edges, wall and curb forms, stairs, and screening
• Ability to efficiently and independently use tools like steel trowels, floats, edgers, and bull floats
• Strong knowledge of grades, form setting, and print reading
