In this role, you will assist with various paving and roadway construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and layout of paving projects, including site setup and traffic control for work zones
- Perform paving tasks using power tools and manual hand tools to lay asphalt or concrete according to project specifications
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and construction site safety standards
- Assist in road repair and other paving projects by working outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements
- Prior paving experience
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards
- Valid driver's license
Pay
- Pay for this position will be based on experience
Shift
- The standard shift for this position is Monday - Friday starting at 6:30 AM. The end of the shift will be dependent on daily job completion.
Work Location
- Work locations will be dependent on the location of the daily project. The service area includes most of Western Pennsylvania. Crews will report to the home facility before travel.
