About the Role
MAK Truck & Trailer Repair is a well-established business with a strong customer base, a large outdoor parking lot, and a major fleet under the same ownership.
We are expanding and looking for a responsible, experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team. We are opening positions for different skill levels, from solid mid‑level mechanics to highly experienced senior technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty semi-trucks
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
- Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized
- Work as part of a team and support continuous improvement
Additional Repair Responsibilities Include:
- Commercial Fleet Services — supporting multi‑truck fleet maintenance and reliability
- Engine Repair & Overhaul — full engine diagnostics, repairs, and complete overhauls
- Transmission & Clutch Repair — diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of drivetrain systems
- Diagnostics & Electrical Repair — identifying electrical faults and ensuring long-term truck reliability
- Driveline Repair — bearings, transmission, differential maintenance, and driveline components
- Exhaust System Repair — inspecting and repairing leaks, damage, and emissions components
- HVAC System Repair — heating, cooling, and cabin air circulation maintenance
- Suspension Repair — shocks, leaf springs, air systems, and ride stability
- Axle Repair — diagnosing axle shaft failures, vibrations, grinding noises, and turning issues
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of engines, drivetrains, and truck systems
- Ability to diagnose issues independently
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work full-time
- Team-oriented with a desire to grow professionally
