HR Specialist – Salt Lake City, UT
Major Drilling is looking for a dependable and organized HR Specialist to join our Salt Lake City team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping employees, staying organized, and supporting daily HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist employees with questions about benefits, policies, payroll, and HR processes
- Support employee relations matters and workplace concerns
- Track leaves of absence and follow up on return-to-work documentation
- Process employee changes, terminations, and HR paperwork
- Support onboarding and new hire orientation
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies
- Enter and update employee information in ADP
- Assist with benefits administration and employee programs
- Support the HR team with general administrative tasks and special projects
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of HR, office, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and professional communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ADP or HRIS experience is a plus
