Majestic Water Spouts is seeking a career-focused and motivated individual with an artistic touch to aid in finishing our products to the brilliance our customers expect. This is not a job grinding structural steel or piping in the summer heat with sparks flying in your boot but rather a detail-oriented finishing position in a small business with an air conditioned warehouse. A day in this position will include a variety of tasks as our Metal Finishing Specialist including deburring parts, brush finishing parts with a wide belt sander and hand tools, blending welds for a seamless look and chemical processes such as passivation and patina aging. We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds, including those with prior finishing experience or not. Great candidates for this position include those with polishing, body work, heavy grinding and other manual finishing experience. The ideal candidate is well organized and methodical while having an understanding of all the processes of sheet metal fabrication and a strong attention to detail.

Located in Tempe, AZ, just off the 143, our central Tempe warehouse and sales office hosts all the fabrication equipment and technology necessary to fabricate almost anything metal in a professional yet friendly and fun work environment.

Some tasks will require a mastery level of experience while others can include some on-the-job training, if your positive attitude and attention to detail are unquestionably apparent. The Day to Day
- Weld Removal/Grinding and Blending of TiG welded products
- Brushed Finish Prep of Parts
- Using Saws and other tools to cut/prepare parts
- Fetching products and parts
- Weld cleaning and passivation
- Patina finishing copper and brass materials/products
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 years' experience with Metal Finishing/Autobody/Grinding/Polishing/Deburring (Or Similar Experience)
- Must be artistic and steady handed, leading to minimal defects in finished products
- Experience with TiG welded (SS & Copper) metal finishing, a plus
- Applying coatings to metal including patina finish, a plus
- Powder coating experience, a plus
- Other Sheet Metal Manufacturing processes (Welding, Press Brake, Lathe, Etc) skills, a plus
- Manufacturing / Warehouse experience, a plus
- Willing to Learn and Help Where Needed
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and instructions
- Lift 40 lbs
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
