Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Land Planner 3, based in Houston, TX. The Land Planner 3 will be responsible for preparing land use and development plans, drafting site plans, and assisting in urban and land use planning projects. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project designs align with regulatory standards and community objectives. Qualifications
- Expertise in Land Use Planning, Land Use, and Urban Planning
- Proficiency in designing and developing Site Plans and Land Development projects
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and zoning laws
- Proficient in using design and mapping software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, or related tools)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present plans and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
- Professional experience in land development projects; advanced certifications or licenses in planning or related fields are a plus
