Full Time Nanny - Brooklyn, NY

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a Brooklyn family with a young toddler starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their child in an engaging, safe and age-appropriate way. To be successful, you will need to be organized, gentle mannered, patient and looking to partner with parents who value mutual respect and good communication. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who has energy (and proven experience) for long days and loves spending time outdoors and exploring the diversity of the city. Candidates who are punctual, reliable and follow through on tasks and expectations will be a great match for this position.

Both parents work long hours with demanding schedules - candidates who can adapt to the evolving needs of their busy home are essential, including flexibility with overall schedule and willingness to chip in and support the smooth running of the home. The family is looking for a long term commitment with a candidate who feels like a natural extension of their family and who will be welcomed into a warm and happy home!

Location: Brooklyn, NY (great location with playgrounds/parks with close proximity). Parking is challenging - candidates need to use public transport and live in close proximity due to 6am start time.

Start date: Summer 2026

Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hrs a week - Monday through Friday with weeks varying between 40-60 hrs per week (schedules are set with advance notice). Start and end times will vary with general hours to land between 6am - 6pm (6am is required to parents' work schedules).

Some flexibility for additional hours and occasional weekends is required - determined by the parents changing work / on call hours. No travel is expected with this role.

Children: One toddler

Conditions: $30 - $35 per hour* (paid as a W2 employee all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate) plus $140 monthly stipend for transportation, sick/personal days, public holidays and at least two weeks paid leave per year. Family will provide healthcare stipend.

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Authorization to work in the US


• Minimum of 3 years experience working with families with young children


• A well-suited demeanor recent experience working with infants


• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence


• Ability to complete light housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state


• Experience in partnering supporting parents with infant and toddler milestones


• Education or equivalent practical knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development


• A flexible schedule and ability/interest to support a busy, dual working parent household in Brooklyn


• Comfortable with pets - family has a dog walker in place with no specific pet duties expected.
