What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny position at Maison D'Enfants NY?
Full Time live-out Nanny required for a Midtown family with a young toddler starting ASAP and no later than the second week of May. You will be responsible for only child-related duties and interacting with their child in a creative and loving manner. Both parents work outside the home and are looking for a long term partnership with an amazing Nanny who will be a happy and positive influence in their home!

Location: Midtown, NY
Start date: ASAP - Spring start date preferred but by the second week of May.
Days/times: Guaranteed 45 hours/week with general hours Monday through Friday - 8.30-6.30pm.
Children: One toddler (born 2024). This is a long term commitment - the child will be enrolled in a half day 3s program from Fall 2027 - full time hours will be sustained long term by the family.
Salary: Starting at $35 - $38* per hour with the expectation of raises and bonuses (paid as a W2 employee) plus OMNY card, lunches, standard sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays (*dependent on experience and other considerations.)
For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:
- Work authorization is required for this role
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a nanny (proven tenure with multiple families)
- Must have NYC nanny experience
- Recent experience working with toddler and preschool age children
- Exceptional references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence in childcare
- Education or equivalent knowledge of stages of child growth and development
- Ability to complete child-related duties (such as accompanying child to daily activities, child meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying nursery and play areas, child's laundry, etc.)
- Demonstrates kindness, professionalism and sound judgment at all times, reflecting the high standards and values prioritized by the family
