Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Head Pizza Maker & Pizza Makers to lead our pizza kitchen team and craft amazing New York Style and Detroit Style pizza's. This role combines culinary leadership with hands-on food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, and presentation. Duties

• Lead the pizza kitchen team by providing clear direction, training, and mentorship to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in pizza production
• Oversee all aspects of pizza preparation, including dough making, topping assembly, baking, and finishing techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food handling
• Develop and refine pizza recipes while adhering to established menu standards and culinary best practices
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management protocols across all kitchen operations
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other specialized tools essential for high-volume pizza production
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; coordinate with suppliers to ensure freshness and availability of quality ingredients
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by implementing proper food safety practices and sanitizing procedures at all times
• Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning to introduce new pizza varieties or seasonal specials that excite our guests
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and culinary excellence within the kitchen environment

Experience

• Proven experience as a head chef or lead pizza maker in a busy restaurant or catering setting with high-volume production experience
• Extensive culinary background with expertise in food preparation techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and precise knife skills
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures applicable to high-volume kitchens
• Prior experience in menu planning and recipe adherence to maintain consistency across multiple shifts
• Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Background in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high-quality food production standards
