The Endpoint Engineer is responsible for managing the reliability, security, and lifecycle of end-user devices across the enterprise. This role owns endpoint imaging, patching, vulnerability management, and IT asset lifecycle, while helping drive the transition from MECM to modern tools like Intune and Autopilot.
This position serves as a technical SME and escalation point, troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and network issues while supporting cross-functional projects and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage endpoint lifecycle (imaging, deployment, patching, asset management)
- Administer MECM and support transition to Intune/Autopilot
- Own patching, compliance, and vulnerability remediation
- Support endpoint security (Defender, EDR, access controls)
- Troubleshoot escalations and perform root cause analysis
- Automate processes using PowerShell/Python
- Maintain documentation and support end-user training
Requirements
- 5 years IT experience
- Strong experience with MECM, Intune, and endpoint management
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with M365 and Windows environments
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
