What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Technician/ Landscaper position at Maintenance By the Yard?
Duties
- Operate and maintain lawn mowing equipment
- Perform regular mowing and trimming of lawns
- Maintain and care for lawns, ensuring they are free from debris and weeds
- Possible basic tree care tasks, such as tree trimming and pruning
- Assist with groundskeeping duties, including garden maintenance and landscaping projects
- Lifting 50 or more pounds, bending, turning
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred
- Familiarity with operating lawn mowing equipment and hand tools
- Knowledge of proper lawn care techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
