What You'll Do as a Business Development Representative
- Make daily outbound and cold calls to potential clients using leads pulled from HubSpot.
- Reach out by phone and email to introduce our IT services and start new conversations.
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the outside sales team.
- Record & track activity, notes, and progress in HubSpot CRM.
- Research & gather contact information for new leads.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with decision-makers at all levels.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and share updates from your outreach metrics.
- Focus on connecting with C-level and business owners in manufacturing, hospitality, and other growing industries across Lancaster County.
Our Ideal Business Development Representative
- Experienced: At least two years of sales, cold-calling, or business development experience, along with a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree or higher is a plus.
- People-oriented: Enjoys engaging with people, asking thoughtful questions, and following through to turn conversations into opportunities.
- Organized Planner: Manages leads, updates CRM notes accurately, and stays on top of follow-ups and goals.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs—HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Curious: Understands how technology drives business growth and is eager to keep learning the IT industry.
- Growth-focused: Works collaboratively with leadership and outside sales while embracing accountability and continuous improvement.
What We Offer Our Business Development Representative
- $60-$75K: Total Compensation (base commission)
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
