Description

Specific Job Functions: 

  • Reviews post-closing loan files for completeness. 
  • Scans and uploads loan docs to core processor. 
  • Receives and tracks original documents and insures they are properly and securely stored. 
  • Creates file folder and file in vault. 
  • Updates documentation and financial exceptions. 
  • Runs and reviews weekly exception reports. 
  • Tracks, updates insurance policies and will force place insurance as needed. 
  • Records and releases UCC filings as needed. 
  • Ensures signed officer’s loan committee minutes are uploaded. 
  • Assists with appraisal process and ordering third party reports, including environmental reports. Be back up to Portfolio and Appraisal Manager as needed.  
  • Take notes and prepare minutes for weekly staff meeting. 
  • Participates in training related to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements of the institution as it relates to the specific position held and is able to effectively identify transactions or situations relative to the position that would not follow the BSA/AML Policy of the institution.

Requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum high school diploma. 
  • Minimum one year experience in an office environment with prior commercial loan processing experience within a commercial bank preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and attain proficiency with the Bank’s core system of products from Jack Henry (Xperience, Silverlate, Synergy) and nCino. 
  • Ability to learn and understand basic knowledge of banking regulations, commercial and consumer loan requirements, and RESPA, TILA, HMDA, CRA. 
  • Ability to learn and understand basic knowledge and understanding of real estate title matters, UCC regulations and guidance, insurance, legal documentation, organizational paperwork, vehicle titling/lien requirements and flood insurance requirements. 
  • Good customer service and verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently or in a group environment. 
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment. 
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions: 

  • Work is performed in a normal office environment. 
  • Remote work considered up to 40-50%.  Position requires physical inspection, review and filing of original loan documents in the office.
