Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safe and effective results.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or heavy items safely during cleaning or moving tasks.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor cleaning techniques to keep surfaces spotless.
• Use cleaning equipment properly and perform routine maintenance on tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific needs and preferences while providing excellent customer service.
• Follow health and safety guidelines related to janitorial practices and outdoor work when applicable.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or outdoor work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple client homes.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and understanding specific household requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in laundry management and general housekeeping management is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail to ensure every space is spotless and welcoming.

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
