Job Description
Position Title: AutoCAD / Draftsman
Reports to: Director of Projects, Exec Mgmt. Team, Office Managers
Home Office: Milwaukee, WI
Oversees: None
Brief Summary:
Works remotely based out of our MainStage Milwaukee Office providing excellent customer service through the creation of AutoCAD submittal drawings for MainStage theatrical systems. The focus is on the collection of drawings on new or renovation projects and creating submittal packages for architect approval.
Duties:
Review electronic specifications and plans to prepare drawings for submittal.
Interface with Project Team to ensure seamless transfer of a project from quotation to project status. Work as a team with the office staff to share product knowledge.
Advance solutions and suggestions to assist the company improve and progress.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of theatrical equipment, practices, and procedures is highly desirable.
Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
Advanced computer skills in the use of AutoCAD LT 2015.
High ability to work with or without supervision and make sound decisions based on guidelines established by management.
High degree of professionalism when dealing with customers and co-workers.
High ability to effectively communicate with other MainStage employees.
Additional Duties:
Other duties as assigned.
Normal facility upkeep as directed by management.
