Activities Assistant
Job Type: Full Time
Shifts: Friday - Tuesday
Pay: $17 - $18
As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing engaging activities and support. If you have a passion for working with seniors and enjoy creating meaningful experiences, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Assist in planning and implementing activities for residents in a senior living community
- Provide support and companionship to residents during activities
- Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Coordinate and manage the activity schedule for residents
- Assist with organizing and setting up activity spaces
- Encourage resident participation in activities and social interactions
- Document resident participation and progress in activity programs
Skills:
- Knowledge of aging issues and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of social work principles and practices

Valid California CNA license
Current CPR certification
