Technical Coordinator

Mainline
Winter Park, FL Full Time
POSTED ON 10/28/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 4/24/2027

Do you get energy from keeping gear organized, samples moving, and events running smoothly? Are you the person who naturally notices when something is out of place, keeps track of serial numbers, and can still explain what a piece of equipment actually does? If you’re hands-on with AV gear, comfortable with computers, and thrive on coordination, this role is built for you!

Mainline is a manufacturers’ representative firm serving the professional audio, video, and lighting industry throughout Florida. We’re looking for a Technical Coordinator to own the operational backbone of our samples, warehouse, and events. You’ll keep our demo inventory organized and ready, support TechConnect and other manufacturer events, and serve as a practical technical resource for the team. You’ll also learn and grow with us as we adopt new tools, including AI-assisted workflows. This role reports to the President of Mainline.

What You’ll Be Doing

Sample & Demo Equipment Management

•  QC incoming and outgoing sample and demo gear, checking condition, accessories, cables, and documentation.

•  Build, maintain, and track sample kits; manage check-in and check-out with clear records.

•  Coordinate sample ordering and returns in partnership with the operations team.

•  Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and ready.

Events & Experience Support

•  Coordinate equipment and logistics for TechConnect and other events, clinics, and workshops.

•  Serve as a liaison between Mainline, manufacturers, venues, and marketing for event planning and day-of execution.

•  Help prepare schedules, packing lists, and basic setup documentation.

•  Support the Experience Center by keeping key demo systems functional and presentable.

Technical & Operational Support

•  Provide practical hands-on support: power, cabling, basic troubleshooting, and product identification.

•  Assist the sales and operations teams with product knowledge questions and technical guidance.

•  Learn and use internal tools (including AI assistants and database platforms) to log QC status, track gear, and improve processes.

•  Help maintain company vehicles used for demos and events.

You Definitely…

•  Have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AV, live production, rental, church production, integration, or a closely related environment.

•  Bring solid product knowledge across audio, video, and/or lighting. You know what the gear is, what it’s used for, and how to identify it correctly.

•  Are organized by nature and take pride in keeping spaces, inventory, and processes orderly.

•  Are comfortable with Microsoft Office, Teams, and both Windows and Mac environments.

•  Can communicate clearly in writing and in person with teammates, manufacturers, and customers.

•  Live in or near Winter Park, FL (ideally within ~30 minutes of our location) and have a valid driver’s license.

•  Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods as needed.

•  Are available for occasional evening and weekend event support.

•  Bring a collaborative, positive, solution-oriented attitude and fit well in a small team that gets things done together.

Extra Awesome If You…

•      Have worked with rental inventory systems, CRM platforms, or any structured database.

•      Understand basic networking concepts or have hands-on experience with Dante.

•      Hold an AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification.

•      Hold any manufacturer certifications (Q-SYS, Dante, lighting consoles, DSP, etc.).

•      Have light programming, scripting, or coding exposure, or simply learn new software tools quickly.

•      Have experience supporting live events, clinics, or manufacturer trainings from the logistics/operations side.

Why This Role Exists

This is a coordination and operations role with a strong technical foundation. Success looks like samples that are always ready and tracked, a warehouse that stays organized, events that run smoothly and professionally, and a teammate who grows with the tools and processes we are building.

What We Offer

•      Competitive pay and benefits, details shared during the interview process.

•      A matching 401(k).

•      Two weeks of PTO.
