Position Summary
Mainett is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant inbound and outbound shipments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving Operations
- Inbound & outbound coordination — Coordinate all dock activities, workflow, and scheduling for shipments.
- Order processing — Perform clerical tasks to ensure timely sales order fulfillment and purchase order receipts.
- Shipping documentation — Prepare commercial invoices, international shipping documents, and customs paperwork.
- Carrier systems — Create labels and shipping documents using FedEx, UPS, and DHL software.
- Freight quoting — Assist with freight quotes by estimating weights, dimensions, and quantities.
- Customer & carrier communication — Respond to customer or shipper questions and resolve issues as needed.
- Safety compliance — Maintain a safe work environment and demonstrate a strong safety mindset.
- Other duties — Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Data & Systems Management
- Accurate data entry — Enter shipment details, receipts, and tracking information into internal systems.
- Software proficiency — Use Microsoft Suite, TMS, and IMS to manage shipment data and documentation.
- Recordkeeping — Maintain organized digital and physical shipping records.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite; experience with TMS and IMS preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
