MVH - Scarborough is currently looking for an Activities Assistant. The Activities Assistant is responsible for providing meaningful activities to the residents and works collaboratively with the Activities Supervisor to maintain a steady flow of activities that are designed to meet the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents.
This is a full-time position.

Requirements:- Ability organize and direct small and large group activities
- Interest in activities and working with the geriatric population
- Must have flexibility to work some weekends and holidays
- Geriatric activities experience preferred
- CNA certification a plus
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
- Basic computer skills
