Pay: $57,100-$63,898 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities
- Manageand assistwiththe Town’s childcare services programs.
- Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, andevaluating recreationalstaff.
- Develop program procedures, safety practices, and participant records.
- Communicate with families and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist with budgeting, program planning, and special events.
- Support the development and delivery of youth and adult recreation programs.
- Utilize recreation management software and assist participants with registration and program questions.
- Serve as acting Recreation Director in the Director’s absence.

- High school diploma or equivalent required;collegedegree preferred.
- Degree orcertificate in recreation managementis desirable.
- Three to five years of experience in recreation, childcare programming, youth services, or a related field.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, families, participants, and community members.
- Valid Maine driver’s license required.
