CNC Machinist - Weekend Night Shift
South Paris, Maine Friday-Sunday, 5 PM-5 AM Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 30% night shift differential
Precinmac is a leading supplier of missioncritical, highprecision machined components for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and automation industries. We're seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in 4axis horizontal milling and/or lathe/millturn machining - someone who thrives on precision and takes pride in producing exceptional work.
What You'll Do
CNC Operation - Run CNC lathes, millturns, and 3, 4, and 5axis mills to produce highquality parts
Setup & Adjustments - Load parts, set offsets, prove programs, perform edits, deburr, and inspect
Blueprint Interpretation - Read drawings, GD&T, manuals, and specifications to determine tolerances and machining sequences
Inspection & Measurement - Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and CMM data to verify accuracy
Troubleshooting - Identify malfunctions, outoftolerance conditions, and adjust machines or tooling as needed
Collaboration - Work with supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues
Maintenance - Keep equipment clean, organized, and running efficiently
Compliance - Follow AS9100, safety regulations, and company policies
What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred
2year degree in Precision Machining or 2 years CNC machining experience in aerospace, medical, or highprecision environments
Experience machining medium to highcomplexity parts
Knowledge of programming language, tooling, inserts, fixtures, and machining accessories
Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering drawings
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, CMM exposure)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Strong math skills (geometry, algebra, basic trigonometry)
Ability to run multiple machines independently or as part of a team
Adaptability in a fastpaced, evolving environment
