Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of our flooring installation projects from initiation to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of assigned projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, initiate, and execute flooring installation projects according to predetermined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones and objectives.
4. Allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.
5. Coordinate with sales, scheduling, procurement, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
6. Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate project status, identify risks, and address issues.
7. Manage change requests and scope creep, and update project documentation accordingly.
8. Anticipate potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
9. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
2. 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction or flooring industry.
3. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
6. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
