Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
- Assist servers by bussing tables, delivering food and beverages when needed, and supporting smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, and supplies using safe lifting practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service efforts and address guest needs promptly
- Support food safety protocols by ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed during table clearing and setup
- Assist with basic catering or event setups as required, contributing to a positive guest experience
Qualifications
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to maintain hygiene standards
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of supplies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact courteously with guests
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper table setting techniques is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality or catering environments is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced setting
