We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. This position involves supporting property operations, maintaining compliance, and fostering positive relationships with residents and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day property operations, including leasing, renewals, and resident relations
- Show property and demonstrate apartment to prospective residents to close the sale.
- Assist in the collection of rent and handling delinquent accounts following all collection policies.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained
- Utilize property management system, Appfolio, for data entry, reporting, and record keeping
- Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, lease agreements, and notices in accordance with landlord-tenant law
- Conduct tenant screenings, lease signings, and move-in/move-out procedures while ensuring adherence to legal standards
- Handle conflict management issues professionally to maintain positive resident relations
- Assist with marketing efforts including upselling available units and coordinating property tours
- Maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, resident records, and administrative files
- Support administrative functions such as phone etiquette, data entry, filing, and customer relationship management

Skills
- Legal administrative experience related to leases, contracts, and landlord-tenant law
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution effectively
- Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor relationships
- Experience in property leasing, sales techniques, and upselling strategies
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes including data entry and filing systems
- Office experience with strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Knowledge of facilities management practices for property maintenance coordination
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skill
- Proficiency in property management software
- Proficient in abiding by Fair Housing regulations

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
