Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional host/hostess service
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow
- Assist servers by delivering food orders swiftly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area to uphold a welcoming atmosphere
- Use POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders, handle guest requests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Uphold phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries, demonstrating professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus with training
