Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate dishwashing equipment to clean all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment according to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
- Follow strict sanitation standards to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with kitchen health and safety standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of dish racks, bins, and supplies with proper technique to prevent injury
- Maintain organization of dishware, utensils, and cleaning supplies for easy access during busy service times
- Adhere to food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling and sanitation of all items
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
