Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with food orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in food preparation and service.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while managing cash register operations.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support food service customer order management by ensuring timely delivery of orders and addressing customer inquiries promptly.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or café environment.
• Manage retail math tasks like inventory counts, basic calculations for sales reconciliation, and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and maintaining food safety standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience working in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is beneficial.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing inventory levels effectively.
