Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician based in Stratford, CT. The role involves performing installations, inspections, and repairs of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Additional responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical system issues, ensuring compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards, and assisting with plumbing-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven ability in Troubleshooting and resolving HVAC system issues
- Knowledge of Electricity as it applies to HVAC systems
- Valid EPA certification and understanding of related regulations
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical training preferred
- Ability to work both independently and within a team in an on-site environment
