Responsibilities
- Manage daily printing operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules
- Conduct prepress processes such as layout design, typography, color management, and proofing to guarantee accurate reproduction of client specifications
- Manage quality control procedures throughout the printing process to maintain high standards and minimize waste or rework
- Coordinate with graphic designers and clients to review print materials, ensuring clarity of vision and technical feasibility
- Maintain equipment functionality by scheduling regular machining, calibration, and maintenance
- Lead troubleshooting efforts
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in print manufacturing environments with expertise in digital press operations
- Strong knowledge of prepress workflows, color management techniques, and layout design principles
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Fiery
- Skilled in finishing equipment (e.g. Duplo) operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively
- Knowledge of mailroom equipment is preferred
